Dollars & Cents...How has the economic climate affected your wine purchases?
According to The International Wine and Spirits Record's (IWSR) forecast the United States will be the number one wine consuming country in the world by 2011-2012. Currently Italy is number one with approximately 298 million cases consumed. The US is second, with France a close third. The prediction that the US will be number one although the country has been obviously grappling with economic issues is an interesting topic...
